Test program

Buttons and lights
Connect 8 LED and two switches to PIC. LEDs should light according to binary value sent to the port. Every time we press first button value on the output should be increased and when we press second button value should be decreased. At the beginning all lights should be turned off.
Serial interface
Create program that will enable sending/receiving characters using standard serial port on the computer (RS232). Program should wait for a character from PC and when character is received it should return it back. If it receives big character it should return it as small and when receiving small characters it should return it as big. It should ignore all other characters.
COM parameters should be data: 8 bit,speed: 19200, parity:none, flow control : none.
You can get extra credits if you implement receiving using interrupts.

Analog digital converter
Create a program that will enable measuring of voltage and displaying it as VU-meter using LEDs. Input voltage is range from 0-5V. According to voltage level right number of lights should light up.
You can get extra credits if you implement AD conversion using interrupts.

Sensors Create a program that will with a help from 2 sensors (push buttons) count number of persons in a room. There is separate entry and exit point with sensors  attached. Program should write number of sensors using serial port. The number of persons can be between 0 and 99.
Create a program which will connect simple keyboard with 7 segment display.  Program should check in a loop which key is pressed, decode it and display it on the display and in terminal (hyperterminal). C key should erase display.
